			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><span style="font-size: 11pt; font-family: 'Palatino Linotype'">Aloha &#8216;ia oukou&#8230; well, the Ho&#8217;ike has come and gone.  What a wonderful event we had at the St. Mary&#8217;s Cathedral Event Center.  On Saturday, July 19, 2008 with a standing room only crowd of approximately 750 in attendance, I&#8217;m proud to say the men and women of our halau stepped up their &#8220;game face&#8221; and put on a performance of a lifetime.  I can&#8217;t thank you all enough for your time and energy these past few months.  Out of the past 14 years our halau has been in existence, this is by far the best cast and crew our halau has ever had and the theme of our event was the perfect way to put the past to rest.  Aloha!</span></p>
